Dear young Artist

If you’re like me who was born without a silver spoon, then committing to your art with the hope that you’re going to truly make a living out of it is a freaking mind game.
From experience, it takes a lot of courage and a little craziness to even think about doing it. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. I’m not here to assure you that you’re going to succeed if you give it a hundred percent in one shot. However, if there’s one thing I can confidently share with you is that if you keep on pushing beyond every failure or setback then there will be a better chance for us to be closer to where we want to be.
I’ve learned that it’s about endurance too. How much and how much heaviness can you take? You’ll be hungry, you’ll feel a lot of shame not being able to provide, and you’ll face the bout of self-doubt, and so much more.
Believe me, you’re going to need every ounce of them to build who you are. Your personal experiences, good and bad, will make you who you are. So please, don’t stop but don’t rush either. Know that there are people who appreciate what you’re doing. We see you and we’re proud of you!
