Things you may not know about me

I’ve been bullied most of my life. Not the “through in a lock type” but always called names and talked about and being a little bit tall. Of course I’m older now — mid 30’s.

A lot of things people don’t realize is I’m extremely active even with fibromyalgia. You have to be active at least an hour a day. Getting atrophy in your muscles is far worse.

Of course, I’m told all the time that I’m fine or it’s just temporary or the pain is in your head but fibromyalgia is different especially when everything else comes back normal and doctors tell you that you have an unknown autoimmune disorder they can’t figure out.

Even in my mid 30’s, I’m still called weird. I don’t have that “hood” demeanor or speak slang just because it’s part of black culture. I’m just the one whom always likes staying out of trouble.

Even at my last job. I’m always looked at or just come off as weird especially since one of my nervous symptoms of have depression and anxiety is talking.

I’m usually fighting off people mentally most of the time because no one gets it or will leave me alone especially while I’m working. I’ve been stared at, harassed about having fibromyalgia, called stupid at work as well. Nothing happens to those kind of people. Good people have to suffer in silence most of the time. Now, I am going through wrongful termination case with that same job.
