As black artists, we have been largely overlooked. However, the last few years black artists have been seen a little more in exhibits and other places where art is welcomed. That’s joy.
The Ontario Museum of History & Art hosted an open called for an exhibit called: We the People: Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow. This exhibition will run from Thursday, February 2, 2023 to Sunday, April 16, 2023. I am featuring a digital piece titled The Color of Our Skin.

We the People: Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow states that I order for our country to be more of a better union, establish justice, tranquility, liberty and prosperity — that the people made the Constitution and it is the people who give it power. The artworks that is displayed, including mine shows a wide range of topics of racial divide, social injustice, voter suppression, environmental concerns, women’s rights, reform and more.
