Wondercon has always been a more breathable convention celebrating art, fandom, pop culture, and cosplay. Wondercon was from Friday, March 27th to Sunday, March 28th. WonderCon continues to be one of the most approachable conventions. This year it was really a spotlight on 90s animation creators.
Unlike larger conventions that can feel overwhelming, the WonderCon vibe is more grounded and community-focused (at least for me).
There’s an unspoken understanding:
You don’t have to perform here—you just have to show up as yourself.
Cosplayers walked the floor not just to impress, but to express.
Artists weren’t just selling prints—they were sharing their stories.
Fans connected over niche interests without hesitation.
Wondercon is not about the massive announcements like San Diego Comic Con. However, one of the biggest announcement I felt mattered the most was tied to Regular Show was the reveal of a new project: Regular Show: The Lost Tapes with a full panel and appearance from the cast with good vibes, behind the scene stories and all things Regular Show that’s all but “Regular”
Charlie Adler made his iconic appearance, the voice behind Cow & Chicken!
Marvel Rivals cast made their appearance as well! With the voices of:
Winter Solider – Eliah Mountjoy
Angela – Brittany Cox
Phoenix – Crystal Lee
Black Panther – James Mathis III
Adam Warlock – Jordan Reynolds
Psylocke – Alpha Takahashi
Emma Frost – Laura Post
Namor – Daniel Marin
Let’s not forget about one of special guests: Willie Ito
Willie Ito along with Tony Tarantini, James Lopez, Logan Christie, and Anthony Keith discussing their roles in the creation of the film Hello Maggie.
Joshua Williamson was another special guest as one of the top writers in comic books. He highlights his process and career and shared insights with a few industry secrets.
Unlike the big Marvel-style announcements, this moment felt:
• Personal
• Nostalgic
• Creator-driven
And that aligns perfectly with WonderCon’s overall vibe this year
LESS HYPE, MORE HEART 🫶🏽
Here are some photos I took over the Wondercon weekend

The biggest takeaway from WonderCon 2026 wasn’t just that Regular Show is coming back.
It’s that:
Stories don’t disappear when they end.
They evolve when people still care about them.
And clearly—people still care.
As per tradition in the WonderCon Souvenir Program Book, it revealed the dates for next year’s convention, which are set for Friday March 26 – Sunday, March 28, 2027 in Anaheim (and presumably at the Anaheim Convention Center again).
And for those keeping score or celebrate holidays, that is Easter weekend.
I am saving my Jessica Rabbit cosplay until then.
