Happy 2026 to everyone. I took a hiatus from my blog to get things situated with my content and I want to finally focus on the techie I am.
CES 2026 is the first event of the year and though I’m not in Vegas, a lot of my favorite people are there. I’m also paying attention to newer innovations for 2026 and emerging tech that feels more “intentional” and innovative.
At CES, there were a lot of new releases in consumer tech such as, big flat TVs, innovative home electronics, and even some cool robots.
Here’s what I feel like is the coolest tech launching right now 🚀

Project Mirage Human Interface Devices
One of the most intriguing gadgets at CES 2026 isn’t about speed or bells and whistles — it’s about making our computers feel more natural to use. Instead of complex menus and mnemonic shortcuts, Mirage introduces hardware like context-aware macropads and programmable buttons that adapt based on what you’re doing on your computer — whether you’re in a meeting, editing photos, or just juggling apps. One component even displays labels on-screen so you always know what control does what without memorizing endless combos.

Lenovo AI Glasses (Concept)
Lenovo showed off its AI Glasses Concept — a lightweight, wearable glimpse at how smart eyewear might evolve beyond gimmicks into something genuinely useful.
It’s still in the concept phase but it’s lightweight weighing around 48 grams (approx. 0.105822 lbs) lasting around 8 hours. It’s powered by Lenovo’s Qira Ai platform with hands free interactions and supports voice commands.
Lenovo’s idea is to also multi-device connectivity for for both phones and PC’s.
Hopefully they make something for those who wear prescription glasses like myself.

Shokz OPENFIT PRO Open-Ear Earbuds
I have several headphones and earbuds. Having them in my ear really helps with overstimulation associated with my social anxiety whether I’m playing music or not.
Shokz took its open-ear audio game to the next level with the OpenFit Pro — one of the first open-ear earbuds to introduce active noise reduction while still letting you stay tuned in to your surroundings.
These have Nickel-titanium ear hooks and Ultra-Soft Silicone 2.0 spread pressure gently, so the buds stay secure through long sessions. Up to 12 hours per charge and 50 hours with the case, plus Qi wireless and 10‑minute quick charge for 4 hours + clear calls and smart controls

Anker Prime 3‑in‑1 MagGo Wireless Charging Station
Im a big Anker tech person. All my chargers and tech accessories are primarily from Anker. At CES, they have some newer additions. Introducing the 3-in-1 MagGo Wireless charging station. A desk tech you’ll actually use every day.
It’s sleek and blends fast wireless charging power with smart design.

New Anker Nano 45W
Speaking of Anker, they released a new 45W charger block but with a built in display for the iPhone. You can now see what devices you are connected to, how fast you are charging and you can actually adjust the charging speed.
The prongs itself give you 2 different angles for plugging into the wall. It comes in 4 colors: white, black, blue, and orange.
Pre Order now for $39.99 (with $10 off) and ships out January 20th.

Pebble Round 2 Smartwatch
I’ve always loved a good wearable that goes beyond basic sleep tracking. The Pebble Round 2 stood out the most. This really marks the return of a smartwatch that prioritizes simplicity, comfort, and battery life over feature overload.
This new version features a 1.3-inch color e-paper touchscreen that’s easy to read in sunlight, physical buttons for reliable control, and a body that’s extremely thin and lightweight — the kind of watch you forget you’re wearing. The biggest thing is that it can last up to 14 days

Razer Project Madison Immersive Gaming Chair
Razer took the idea of a gaming chair way beyond comfort with its Project Madison immersive gaming chair concept. Instead of just ergonomic padding and tilt adjustments, Project Madison is designed to engage your senses on multiple levels.
Underneath the tech is a solid ergonomic chair with cold-cured foam, adjustable 4D armrests, and reclining support to keep you comfortable during long sessions. CES didn’t reveal pricing or a release date yet, but if this concept makes it to market it could redefine what we expect from gaming furniture.

HP OMEN MAX 16 Intel Gaming Laptop
At CES, gaming laptops stole a lot of the spotlight — and now we know why the OMEN MAX 16 has become a flagship benchmark for high-end laptop gaming and creative performance.
Built around the latest Intel Core™ Ultra 9 processors coupled with up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 graphics. The laptop features a 16-inch OLED display with up to 240 Hz refresh rate and a blazing 0.2 ms response time, delivering crisp, fluid visuals.
Keeping all that power in check, the Tempest Cooling Pro system (including a third fan and self-cleaning tech) helps reduce throttling and maintain consistent performance under heavy loads.
The OMEN MAX 16 shows how gaming laptops in 2026 are increasingly becoming serious tools for both play and productivity

Keychron Q Ultra keyboard
I own several mechanical keyboards including Keychron. At CES, they unveiled the new ultra series line. These use ZMK open-source firmware, which is a more energy-efficient alternative to traditional keyboard firmware. This gives 660 hours of battery life on a single charge in 2.4 GHz wireless mode.
The new Ultra Series has Full aluminum body for solid rigidity, Keychron Silk POM switches for a smooth for a refined typing feel and Customizable keys and knobs for personalization.
In addition to impressive wireless performance, these keyboards offer a 2.4 GHz wireless, Bluetooth, or wired USB-C connectivity, Hot-swappable switches, and Advanced macro and lighting support.
The new Ultra Series represent how far desktop accessories are evolving to meet both performance and lifestyle needs.
It comes in three configurations, Q1 Ultra (75%), Q3 Ultra (TKL), and Q6 Ultra (100%). They start at $229.
