L.A Comic Con 2025 in Los Angeles

If you’re a fan of comics, anime, gaming, cosplay, sci-fi, or pop culture in general, Los Angeles Comic Con 2025 is the place to be. The shifting date was held September 26–28, 2025 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. No matter the dates, this three-day extravaganza will bring together creators, celebrities, fan communities, and exclusive announcements.

If this is your first time or never been to this convention, Los Angeles Comic Con (originally called Stan Lee’s Comikaze) is the L.A’s popular celebration of pop culture, comics, sci-fi, anime, and gaming. Over the years, it’s become one of the most anticipated conventions in California, drawing more than 120,000 attendees annually.

💪🏽 Day 1, The Start of The Weekend of Fandom

Day 1 started off pretty strong with doors opening at 1pm. This day is usually the calmest out of the entire weekend due to the majority of the panels and guest appearances on Saturday and Sunday.

💥 The Stan Lee A.I. Hologram Experience

This year, the company Proto debuted their A.I recreation of Stan Lee (who died in 2018). They charged $5 for fan to get the chance to speak with him. The company made sure to use words Stan Lee has said in past at red carpet events and his cameos in his all the Marvel films.

Chris DeMoulin, chief executive of Comikaze Entertainment, stated that “This avatar will never say something that Stan didn’t say. It will never have a point of view about Marvel or the stories or Stan’s role in them that hasn’t come directly from something Stan has said.”

Reactions were mixed — some found it touching, others uneasy about the concept.

🔥 Daredevil: Born Again Panel — A Reunion Worth the Wait

Fans packed the hall for the highly anticipated Daredevil: Born Again panel, where Charlie Cox (Matt Murdock), Vincent D’Onofrio (Kingpin), and Elden Henson (Foggy Nelson) reunited on stage for the first time since the original Netflix series.

The chemistry between the trio was undeniable. They shared heartfelt (and often hilarious) behind-the-scenes stories from filming the new Disney+ revival — including long shooting days, fight choreography challenges, and emotional moments that pay homage to the original show’s tone.

We even got exclusive footage from the upcoming season, featuring a darker, grittier tone and what looked like Daredevil’s upgraded suit. Cox teased fans by saying, “Matt’s world is changing — and not everyone he loves is safe this time.”

🌌 Doctor Who 60th Celebration — Nostalgia Meets the Next Chapter

Immediately following Daredevil, the tone shifted from gritty action to heartwarming nostalgia as the Doctor Who 60th Celebration continues with David Tennant (The Tenth Doctor), Billie Piper (Rose Tyler), and Freema Agyeman (Martha Jones) reuniting for an emotional, laughter-filled hour of stories, surprises, and fan appreciation.

David Tennant spoke about the legacy of the Doctor, saying, “It’s more than a show — it’s a reminder that change can be beautiful.”

We were also treated to a special message from Ncuti Gatwa, the current Doctor, who teased what’s next for the series moving into 2026.

😱 The Scream Reunion — Horror Nostalgia Meets Comedy Gold

The Scream cast reunion turned the main hall into a horror fan’s dream with Jamie Kennedy, Matthew Lillard, and Skeet Ulrich hitting the stage together, immediately sparking laughter, cheers, and a little chaos (in the best way possible).

The trio shared hilarious stories from filming the original Scream and reflected on how the franchise redefined the horror genre. Lillard, always the showman, jumped off the stage at one point to interact directly with fans in the front rows — and even slipped into his iconic Shaggy voice from Scooby-Doo.

Kennedy talked about how Scream fans are “some of the most loyal in the world,” while Ulrich got a round of applause after joking, “You never really die in horror — you just get rebooted.”

I really enjoyed the energy in the room from a nostalgia classic .

💥 The Elizabeth Olsen & Paul Bettany Q&A — Chaos and Vision in Perfect Sync

The chemistry between Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany lit up the stage during their joint Q&A session. Known for their roles as Wanda Maximoff (Scarlet Witch) and Vision, the two MCU stars brought warmth, humor, and honesty to every answer.

We were treated with some behind-the-scenes stories from WandaVision and hints about where Wanda’s story might go next. Olsen mentioned she’d “love to explore more of Wanda’s redemption arc,” while Bettany hinted that “Vision’s story isn’t quite over yet.”

Olsen ended with stating “What makes the MCU special isn’t just the movies — it’s the people who show up, who care, and who grow with us.”

🎎 Akiba Station: Anime Central — A Love Letter to Japanese Pop Culture

At LA Comic and in collaboration with Otaku Collectives, the grand unveiling of Akiba Station is a brand-new, 40,000-square-foot immersive anime zone that promises to bring the authenticity of Tokyo’s Akibabara district.

This dedicated area celebrated Japanese pop culture with everything from voice actor signings and live art showcases to booths filled with limited-edition merchandise imported directly from Japan. I was able to get some Japanese candy without going to the Japanese market in Little Tokyo.

One of the biggest attractions was the appearance of Yuriko Yamaguchi, the voice of Nico Robin from One Piece, whose signing line wrapped around the entire section. She shared heartfelt thanks to fans for their continued support of the Straw Hat crew and even dropped a few signature lines in character that sent chills through the crowd.

Takeshi Kusao, the iconic voice of Trunks from Dragon Ball, also made a rare U.S. appearance, drawing both longtime DBZ fans and younger generations discovering the series for the first time. His energy was contagious — joking with fans, signing artwork, and even reenacting Trunks’ famous sword scene.

Throughout the weekend, Akiba Station also hosted anime screenings, K-pop dance showcases, themed photo ops and even street fashion and accessories.

🎮 Day 3: Indie Creativity and Farewells

Sunday slowed the pace. The Cosplay Competition Finals stole the spotlight, showcasing some of the most detailed and imaginative costumes of the weekend. Panels for indie creators, illustrators, and up-and-coming game designers offered practical advice and inspiration for anyone chasing their creative dreams.

In the Gaming Pavilion, fans got hands-on experience with Spider-Man: New Dawn and Final Fantasy Rebirth Part II, wrapping up a weekend filled with connection, nostalgia, and artistic passion.

💫 Final Thoughts: Why LA Comic Con 2025 Was One for the Books

This year’s Los Angeles Comic Con was more than just a celebration of pop culture — it was a reunion of creativity, heart, and community.

It’s not just about the stars or announcements — it’s about people coming together to share what they love most.
