I’m not a big perfume wearer. The only ones I own is the minis from Henry Rose and Ariana Grande Cloud (both in my Amazon Storefont) but when I apply for a free sample to try, I jumped at the chance.
Originally I took a quick quiz to “find my signature scent” but the results weren’t like me so the website gave me the option to choose the samples based on the smell I liked most.
I love light, calm and Sandlewood. Keyword is “light” because if its too strong it will give a light headache and irritate my sinuses a little.
It does come in a nice packaged box. It says “Discover your signature scent. Sustainability is noteworthy”
The samples come in a little spray bottle. They aren’t named. It has the letter “n” and then the scent number.
They also send you a $25 credit, which I guess is for the full size bottle.
It’s says:
“Spray on to moisturize skin and don’t rub. Try each fragrance a few times…”
The first one I tried is n,551. It says it has Lily, amber and Sandlewood. I love Sandlewood but I smell is a little too much of a stinging strength of amber. My nose begins to tingle and I don’t like that.
Next is n,602. It says it’s a romantic little roses, ylang ylang, and jasmine. To me, it’s a soft and light citrus smell. It does smell good and elegant.
Next is n.743. It says it is tuberose, magnolia, and jasmine. It also says it’s delicate but it smells more sophisticated with a sting of a sweet white floral. This one gave me a light headache. So this one is a No.
The last one is n,008. It says it’s pear, gardenia, and Sandlewood. I do like Sandlewood but I smell a mix of a fruity pear smell but soft and light. This is my favorite one thus far.
I’m glad I actually found one I like because I wasn’t expecting to like them at the rate I was going with the first 2.
Recommendations:
- Don’t take the quiz honestly. It’s fun but it’s 50/50 when it comes to scents
- Try the samplers first.
- If you’re sensitive to scents, sinuses or get headaches, I would hold off on this one
