Just Wanting The Pain To Stop

I didn’t have to die for the pain to stop. You don’t have to either.

Some days it is still a struggle. Some days the love is dim and seems far away. Some days I grow discouraged and feel defeated. Some days I still want to leave this world (and all its tribulations) behind. But I keep putting one foot in front of the other, and I hold onto hope. I talk to those around me. I get a good night’s sleep. A new day dawns. I feel better.

Did you know 5.5 million have called 988, a suicide and crisis lifeline, since its July 2022 launch. (KFF.org)

That’s why I wanted to help with this campaign so much with TWLOHA. I’m raising money to help provide 4,000+ hours of free therapy sessions for those who can’t afford professional mental health care. Funds will also help support TWLOHA’s FIND HELP Tool, which connects people to local mental health resources in every zip code in the US.

Every gift, every story, every conversation helps people see the truth that: the world is not better without you.

If you need support right now, call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 9-8-8, the Trevor Project at 1-866-488-7386 or text “HOME” to 741-741.
