Over the past year, I have been trying some products from Good Molecules. So far I loved all their products including their Clarify & Cleanse Bar, which I currently use now. When I received the Discoloration Correcting serum, I wasn’t instantly over the moon though. I was thinking it might be too much for my mostly sensitive skin. I have been using it consistently the past few weeks as my nighttime routine.
Let’s talk price point and availability first. The Good Molecules products can be purchased from their own website my personal preference Ulta Beauty. The brand is not expensive and the serum retails for $12. The Discoloration Correcting serum is one that had me a bit nervous and states that it is able to help with uneven skintone and hyperpigmentation for instance caused by melasma. It features niacinamide (which I use in the morning) as well as one of the top ingredients to help with skin texture and dullness. I have very sensitive skin especially my face and can be very reactive to wind and the changing of the seasons.
This is a product that can be used as a first step in a skincare routine after cleansing but I prefer to use it as a nighttime routine. It doesn’t sting nor irritate. I also notice it works well to help with my skin’s texture. This is a really good one. Since it has a blend of different ingredients that target different skin issues I feel this is more effective than some of the other products I have tried from other brands.
Disclaimer: This is a personal experience with the Good Molecules Discoloration Correcting serum, you may have a whole different experience as skin type differs so as result differs too.
