The Fit Expo 2023 in Los Angeles — The Experience

I attended the Fit Expo in Los Angeles this year from January 14-15 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. It’s a little vacation from work on a heavy rainy day, but still had an awesome time. There is something so powerful, motivating and inspirational about being in a room, surrounded by like-minded people.

Over 50,000 vendors, athletes, and wellness enthusiasts came together to bring guests an experience of a lifetime. The forefront of the Los Angeles Fit Expo were the 100+ brands that brought their athletic gears and wellness tips into practice. The top 3 brands tend to stand out every year.

Legendary – Each pastry has 20g of protein, 180 calories, and just 5g net carbs. Finally, a low carb, keto snack with all the delicious sweet cinnamon sugar flavor you know and love 🙂 Enjoy it lightly microwaved or straight out of the wrapper. Your Legendary experience awaits.

Rule One Proteins – They are a leader in the supplement industry with products formulated for lifters, athletes, and serious competitors. Manufactured in the US, they always taken a “hands-on approach” to maintaining the highest standards of quality.

Reign Body Fuel – one of my favorite energy drinks (next to Bang). Blended with BCAAs, 300 mg of Natural Caffeine, CoQ10 & electrolytes, REIGN Total Body Fuel is designed for your active lifestyle. Offering zero sugar, & zero artificial flavors & colors. Lastly, no Taurine.

My fiancé drove to LA that Saturday morning for the expo. The first time I attended this expo years ago, it was overwhelming at first with so many booth & so many people. The first thing we did was run to the booths where we knew our favorite fitspo brands were. My goal during this expo now isn’t the people and how they workout or how to get the muscles most people would love. It’s how to remain healthy and maintain a healthy lifestyle & wellness — simply put, to live longer. That’s been more of my focus since being diagnosed with Fibromyalgia in 2017.

We spent the rest of Saturday eating and creeping. Not kidding… while walking we made a point of hitting up every SINGLE sample booth that crossed our path. I’m talking protein bars, pho noodles, breads, muffins, bars, cookies, chips, chocolate, meat, drinks & the list goes on. This year was the first year I noticed 2 water brands — AQUAHydrate and a black-owned water brand, SOULTox Alkaline Water. I acquired a massive haul of samples, especially energy drinks. They didn’t have Taurine in them so I was good. I even won $100 gift certificate from Regenics, which allowed me to get an entire outfit (t-shirt & joggers) for free.

Sunday was a better day simply because it didn’t rain. I didn’t have a mission that day but I did stop by the GoldsGym booth. The lady remember me of course. So the challenge was really to do 50 squats, 50 crunches, and 30 push-up. So I said to myself, I will just beat the person who did the most squats, which was 555. So without realizing it, I did 1,035 squats. How? Probably adrenaline or pure fun. I probably could did the crunches but I rather my feet give out than my back. 😜

Overall, the atmosphere of the weekend illustrated funk music, laughs and a large group of individuals connecting with others using one common factor: Fitness and wellness.

Looking to attend: The Fit Expo is in San Jose 20233, Anaheim 2023, San Diego 2023 & Los Angeles 2024.
