NostalgiaCon hosts another 80’s decade event from September 28th-29th in Anaheim, California at the Anaheim Convention center. Slipping into those leg warmers, watermelon lip balm, neon lights and pop a cassette tap into the boombox will bring back some memories.
Christopher Lloyd from back to the future, Corey Feldman and Sean Astin from The Goonies were among top featured talent. Not only were there guest but also retro gaming and on-theme and venders.
Did I mention the music from Madonna and Cyndi Lauper and Old School Hip Hop in the background as you experience the convention. Also with 1980’s icon the original MTV’s VJ Mark Goodman. By nightfall, it gets even better with a roster of artists whom performed this weekend: The Sugar Hill Gang, Dokken, Doug E. Fresh, TKA and Monie Love.
There was even a live band playing the 80’s classics, which was pure joy.
Cosplay was definitely recommended along with all things Ghostbusters and of course the DeLoreans.
What else could you not love about the 80’s decade than to just go down memory lane and enjoy it.
