Fitness is an important part of being healthy. You do not need to workout vigorously every single day, but a healthy regimen helps to healthy living. For me, I like to eat so my workouts are more intense. I try my best to cut out sugar, but lets be honest, there is sugar in everything. I clearly do not know everything but I do know to have a lower sugar intake. That is what makes you gain fat.
I am 5’9″ at 167 pounds, but in perfect health. I even have curves and muscles. I currently workout twice a day. 12-20 minutes in the morning that normally have a primary focus. In the evening is my more intense workout that is between 30-45 minutes long. I try to do cardio/plyo/agility twice a week, leg day once a week, abs 2-3 times a week, and arms once a week. That is just my profile. Everyone has a different plan a regimen and you should create your own profile.
Here are some things I add and remove to have a healthy life.
- Drink lemon water first thing in the morning
- Cut soda, chips, and candy all together.
- Green tea
- Stretching first thing in the morning
- Take vitamins
- Walk, go outside, and get some air.
- Set a sleep schedule.
- Cook at home as much as possible
- Eating fruit and vegetables
These are the small things.
Next, everyone has a food weakness. Mine is ice-cream and macaroni & cheese. I could probably eat that everyday so my advice is to eat in moderation. For measuring servings, use a small sundae cup. It won’t feel that you are eating too much.
