Old School Use of Household Products

We use household products for it labeled uses every single day but these products can be ingredients to create mixers for helping with skin care and personal hygiene. Two are the most common:

Here is a concoction that removes dead skin:

Mix 1/4 cup of listerine (any color will do but I like the blue color)
1/4 cup of vinegar
1/2 cup of warm water
Soak feet for 10 minutes and when you take them out you should be able to wipe off dead skin.

Here is one that is a natural teeth whitener:

1 teaspoon of baking soda (search for the Aluminum-free)
1 teaspoon hydrogen peroxide ( 3% food grade )
A few drops of Peppermint essential oil

Follow these simple steps:

Step 1: Mix the baking soda with the hydrogen peroxide into a smooth paste then add the few drops of the essential oil.
Step 2: Next dip your toothbrush in the paste and brush for about 2 minutes before brushing with your regular toothpaste and that’s it! You can use this paste for a few days in a row then start using it just once a week for maintenance.
